Technology, coercion & investigation
Technical knowledge. Survivor-informed purpose.
I educate others about digital coercion while developing my technical knowledge in cybersecurity, digital investigations, and digital forensics.
The connection
Why technology is part of my advocacy.
I examine how digital systems enable coercion, how evidence is understood in context, and how technical tools can support survivor safety.
01 / Digital coercion
Understanding technology-facilitated control.
I educate others about digital coercion: using technology to monitor, pressure, threaten, or control someone through accounts, communication, or private information.
The focus is consent, control over access, privacy, and autonomy.
02 / Cybersecurity & privacy
Developing cybersecurity knowledge with survivor safety in mind.
I’m expanding my knowledge of cybersecurity, digital privacy, and ethical security testing. My learning focuses on protecting accounts, devices, and sensitive information.
I study how security practices address coercion, shared access, and technology-facilitated abuse.
03 / Digital investigations & forensics
Developing an investigative foundation.
I study open-source intelligence (OSINT)—evaluating publicly available information—and digital forensics, the examination of data from devices and digital systems.
I’m developing skills in assessing information, identifying patterns, and interpreting digital evidence, guided by accuracy, privacy, and ethical practice.
04 / Software development
Understanding how digital systems work.
My software development training provides a foundation in programming logic, application structure, and user interaction.
This knowledge supports my understanding of how digital tools function and informs my continued study of security and investigative technology.
WEB & DIGITAL DESIGN
Applying technical and creative skills to digital projects.
Alongside my continued work in software development, I’m available for select web and digital design projects. My work can include responsive websites, website updates, digital graphics, and other visual or interactive projects.
I approach this work with attention to structure, usability, accessibility, and clear visual communication.
